Figure drawing

I'm really starting to enjoy the figure drawing workshops again. It feels nice to just be drawing.

My first cinemagraph. This was from a photoshoot I did recently with some close friends. I've always wanted to make something like this and this was my first chance. I'd really like to do more things like this in the future.

Back to basics

Trying to keep my mind loose lately. Been doing life drawing whenever I have the opportunity. While I specialize in animation and the digital relm it's always relaxing to go back to my traditonal skills. I should be getting some fresh animation coming out soon. Keep an eye open.

Comic con

So a few weeks ago I was honored to attend Utah's very first Salt Lake City Comic Con. There were a lot of big name guests, local studios, and cosplayers (myself included). It was very exciting because not only did I get to enjoy the time spent with my friends, I got to network with a lot of the local game and animation studios located here in the valley.

New website

Been working hard! I haven't updated my blog in a long time but that is because all of my time has been focused toward creating my new website. I'll still be updating here every now and then, but for my professional work, my website is now in charge! For those of you who are following me please check it out.

Digital work

Been painting in photoshop a lot lately. It really helps me when I'm stressed out or feel overwhelmed. I'd really love to create a second blog just to show off my paintings. Maybe I'll do that in the next few weeks.

Going green

I know I don't get a lot of traffic on this page but I thought I'd spread the word anyway. I'm showing some support to R&H and all visual effects studios by changing my FB profile pic to a green screen. It's a friendly protest for a great cause. Especially since this is the industry I'm planning on going into for a career. For those of you who do follow my blog please feel free to look more into this movement and why it's so important.
